What's the difference between Huntertech and the other IT managed service providers?

Our founder Mathew Hunter had been a contractor for most major industries, from provincial healthcare to Wall Street, and spent 6 years working for one of the largest architecture firms in North America. He has 20 years of IT experience and has managed IT environments for architects, engineers, and related professions since 2010. And because we understand the software and systems that are unique to your industry, we know what needs to be done for your business to succeed, requiring less of your time explaining what you need. In other words, we can hit the ground running. Our business ethic is centred around providing high quality service to our clients. That means when an issue arises, we work directly with vendors on your behalf to troubleshoot and remediate. We take ownership rather than engage in finger pointing which can result in delay or leaving the issue unresolved. We take the time to understand your unique business needs. As your IT advisor, we make sure your technology environment suits you and not someone else. Ill-fitted technology can result in increased costs, as well as products and infrastructure that impede your productivity. We provide predictable monthly pricing and don't charge extra for labour on projects.

We're here to take care of all your IT needs, whether it's IT support, IT security, networking, cloud services, hardware procurement and management, or keeping track of software licenses and renewals. We also handle new system implementations and migrations from an old system. If it runs on electricity, we're likely able to lend a hand! We also offer Revit management services to make modeling easier and more efficient for your team. This includes Revit model review, Revit model health checks, parametric family creation, Revit training, automation, and customized configuration. What is onboarding like?

We aim to make things as smooth as possible for you. We'll sit down together to understand your needs and identify any potential risks or gaps in your technology. Once we have a clear picture of the technology you use, we'll create a roadmap showing where you are now and where we think you should be headed, along with how we'll help you get there. And don't worry, there's no onboarding fee, so you can trust that our suggestions are genuinely in your best interest, not just to fill project hours.

What's your pricing model?

We offer transparent per-user pricing: $130 per user per month all-in (unlimited support, security, and project labour included), or Security Essentials at $40 per user per month with support billed hourly. Revit services are billable hours.

Do you charge project fees?

We don't believe in charging project-based fees. Instead, we offer our services for a simple monthly rate.
